At 56 years old, I wanted to remain as healthy and active as possible. I said to myself, “I feel good, but I want to continue to age well and be my best self.” A friend mentioned her experience with Laura Kelly. Yearning to age well, be my best self, drop a few pounds and avoid the family cycle of dementia, I met with Laura.

 

Through sincere, focused conversations and truthful research of genetics, bloodwork, diet, and lifestyle, the script on my life has flipped! Laura has given me a wealth of knowledge and direction that will continue to guide me in this wellness journey. I was not having any health issues other than hypothyroidism, so I went into this trying to stay healthy, knowing I wanted to avoid a countertop full of pharmaceuticals in my later years. My job was to consistently apply what I learned and trust Laura. Learning more about what my body needs helps me to make wise food choices and dedicate myself to a much more active lifestyle. 

 

Now, with more energy, greater strength, and an improved mood, I find myself looking for more ways to be active and track what my body needs. Making healthy changes with the guidance of Laura’s expertise has given life to my quest for wellness. Starting this journey, I desired to stay well, but I had no idea that with proper coaching I could feel even better! With consistent, healthy habits of food choices and exercise my physique has improved significantly requiring me to enjoy retail therapy as I shopped for new clothes! Being 40 pounds lighter, I feel physically and mentally sharp with more energy because of Laura’s personal guidance, expertise and attentiveness.

As an athlete in my 50's going through menopause, I was experiencing reactions to certain foods, and bloating that drained my energy. When I spoke with my GP, he told me that nutrition is not taught at medical school.  
 

And so a friend introduced me to  Laura Kelly.  All I can say  is that she is an absolute miracle worker and a wonderful and caring person.

Her analysis of genetic, blood, and stool tests showed me exactly what supplements to take and what foods to eat.. She provided recommendations for carb-protein-fat composition and how to attain that balance. She uses a science-based approach that provided a clear plan that met my individual needs.

I feel so fortunate to have found Laura Kelly when I did.  Originally she was referred to me for my adult son who has a chronic illness.  When I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 52 I knew I needed to work with her.  My breast cancer was found early and treated with surgery and radiation.  I knew I needed to change some things to give me the best chance possible of not having a recurrence.  Though I had changed my lifestyle quite a lot over the past decade going through peri menopause was making life very tough.  I was getting no help from my doctors - and they were all women!
